Captivated by the picturesque naval city of Galaxidi, so tied to the sea and the maritime tradition of Greece, the owners, Themis and Katerina Lebesopoulos, bought this historic grocery in the 90s and turned it into a modern hospitable home emphasing on elegant nautical decoration. The architectural idea of the open plan structure dominates the style of this impressive home.
The building bears the seal of time, built in 1886 by experienced workers, traditional materials, stone, wood and brilliants. The visual sloping roof with its wooden beams dominates the building’s interior. The house consists of two open floors and the mezzanine that you can “navigate” using the nautical wooden ladders.
